About the Founder

Jose Orellana is the Founder and Principal Consultant of Mid-America Safety Consulting, LLC, with extensive experience in occupational safety and health across construction and general industry settings. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety & Health and is an authorized OSHA Outreach Trainer for both Construction and General Industry. Jose brings a practical, hands-on approach to safety—focused on hazard recognition, regulatory compliance, and building sustainable safety programs that work in the field, not just on paper. As a bilingual safety professional (English/Spanish), Jose is committed to delivering clear, effective training that reaches diverse workforces and promotes shared responsibility for safety at all levels of an organization. His mission is simple: help employers create safer workplaces where employees are informed, engaged, and able to go home safely every day.
